what is the anticorrosion material ETFE F40? what are the properties?

ETFE (F40) is composed of 1:1
tetrafluoroethylene and ethylene
copolymerization.ETFE(F40 )fluoropl
astics are sourced from dupont,
Daikin, asahi Glass and Asahi Glass.
They are mainly used in anticorrosion lining.
The material has the corrosion
resistance of tetrafluoroethylene,
and has the strong adhesion
characteristic to the metal, which
overcomes the non-adhesion defect
of tetrafluoroethylene to the metal, and its average
linear expansion coefficient is 9.4×10-5/℃, which is
close to the linear expansion coefficient of carbon
steel, making ETFE (F40) an ideal composite material
with the metal. The application of this optimized
composite technology in anticorrosive equipment
fully shows that the equipment manufactured by this
technology has excellent negative pressure resistance
characteristics. The equipment with welded steel wire
mesh inside can enhance the negative pressure
resistance to the maximum extent, up to 0.09Mpa.
ETFE (F40) is the most ideal lining material for
reaction kettle, storage tank, tower joint and other
equipment under the premise that glass can’t be
used in high-temperature alkali, high-temperature
acid and other strong corrosive medium.
