working condition of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene, teflon ) and it’s Characteristics

1. Higher operating temperature: Under the condition of strong corrosive medium, it can meet the operating temperature range of -60℃~200℃, and can meet all chemical media within this temperature range.

2. Vacuum resistance: can be used under vacuum conditions. In chemical production, partial vacuum conditions are usually caused by cooling, longitudinal discharge and asynchronous operation of pump valves.

3. High pressure resistance: in the temperature range, it can withstand pressure up to 3MPa.

4. Impermeability: It is made of high-quality polytetrafluoroethylene resin and processed by advanced lining technology to become a high-density PTFE lining layer with sufficient thickness to make the product have superior impermeability.

5. The integral molding sintering process lining solves the problem of hot and cold expansion and contraction of steel fluorine, and realizes simultaneous expansion and contraction.

Characteristics of PTFE material

1. Low density: The density of PTFE material is much lower than that of steel, copper and other materials. Lightweight weight is of special significance to the aerospace, aviation, shipbuilding and automotive industries;

2. Good insulation: most PTFE materials have good electrical insulation and arc resistance. The insulation performance can be compared with ceramics and rubber. They are widely used in the electronics, electrical and electrical industries.

3. Excellent chemical properties: PTFE material is inert to acids and alkalis, has good corrosion resistance, and is widely used in the chemical industry;

4. Good thermal insulation performance: the thermal conductivity of plastic is 0.2%-0.5%, and good thermal insulation;

5. High specific strength: certain varieties of plastics are even higher than steel. The specific strength of glass fiber-based PTFE is 5 times that of Q235 steel and 2 times that of high-strength aluminum.
